Mpume Ncube Daka, host of Change Conversations connects with Karika Yonrene about personal branding and networking.
Karika has a background in engineering. She enjoyed fixing things around the house as a child, but her main motivation for going into engineering was to show other women that it was possible to pursue STEM courses in such a male-dominated industry. She moved across industries, from project engineering to oil and gas.
Karika is about women empowerment and she is currently in the business of helping women build personal brands and networking because she believes that the essence of life is connection. On the show Karika defines personal branding as the projection of who you are- it’s basically you amplifying your value in a strategic manner.
