Branded Content: Brands doing great things with “branded content” – The best example of this would be Red Bull – they use their owned assets to create key content that keeps their community of consumers constantly involved with their brand. Whilst this APP is currently not useful in Africa – its certainly highlights the technology and the way in which the retail segment can be changed/operated on our continent and is a great example of how the mobile/digital space can truly be converged into a real world retail scenario.
