As the big names pour into the country we are all caught up in either Bieber Fever or Bon Jovi madness, yet we forget our own – like the passing of “Little Ronnie Joyce” earlier this year and his friends – all local artists had to come together to do a tribute evening to raise money to buy him a tomb stone. It’s a “shame” that this has to happen, these great artists paved the way for all in this country, yet we are so quick to forget what they did for music not only here, but opening the doors of this country to bring the big names here for all of us to enjoy.

“This is a magical performance by one of SA’s greatest talents Little Ronnie Joyce at the Evolution Tour with Jonathan Butler and Lionel Peterson. Sadly it was Ronnie’s last performance as he passed away early in 2013. R.I.P RJ. You will certainly be missed.”
