We chat with the founders of Snapmenu, a new piece of technology available for restaurants battling the COVID pandemic and customers’ health concerns.
The business started as a competition entry organised by the UCT Developer Society in partnership with the Developer Student Club (DSC) and which was sponsored by Yoco, an African technology company.
SnapMenu, created a digital menu that allows customers to access a restaurant’s menu with a simple tap of a smartphone camera. The system’s built-in functionality also easily allows customers to pay the bill and tip the waiter or waitress.
We chat to these entrepreneurs about the concept, it’s development and now refinement. Enjoy.
