We are all bias – its ingrained, learnt and taught and you take it with you everywhere. So how do you become aware and try change your behaviour.
Unconscious biases are social stereotypes about certain groups of people that individuals form outside their own conscious awareness. Everyone holds unconscious beliefs about various social and identity groups, and these biases stem from one’s tendency to organize social worlds by categorizing.
Kevin Britz is joined by Anja van Beek. They have a look at Unconscious Bias and how we all have biases whether or not we are aware of them, and discuss how we are influenced by our biases.
