“I went from being a teacher, to moving to Australia, with enough money for only 2 months. I knew I needed to change and do something that would bring me happiness and money. I now teach people how to use Instagram for their marketing”, Jake Davey.
Mpume Ncube-Daka is joined by Jake Davey, a successful online entrepreneur. Jake has worked with many entrepreneurs around the world teaching them how to grow and monetise their businesses on Instagram.
Jake is based in the UK in Manchester, where he was a teacher for 8 years before transitioning into his online business. He relates the story of how he left the UK and moved to Australia to try to explore other things in life because he wasn’t sure what the next step in his career would be.
The online business was never part of the plan but it sounds like he was destined for it because he met a gentleman in Fiji who introduced him to the possibility of being able to run an online business. Jake shares about the transferable skills that he acquired and the importance of having coaches and mentors to help you through your journey. Grab a drink and enjoy this change conversation.
