Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator is a non-profit social enterprise that partners with business, government and civil society to accelerate the participation of our youth in the economy.
Over Harambee’s 12-year journey, they have learnt that one of the barriers that young people experience in their job-seeking endeavours is that they cannot afford work appropriate clothing.
That’s why Harambee launched SmartWorks, which is an initiative that gives young people the opportunity to pick out an outfit from a fabulous closet of donated work attire. This allows young people to dress professionally and make a good first impression.
All donations of work wear will ensure that our young people have the confidence to attend interviews or start their first jobs.
