Due to an accident, Craig’s laptop stopped working. He decided that whilst the laptop was being repaired he would continue to do the work he needed, but use his Tablet as a substitute for his ailing laptop.
Craig adapted his smartphone to work similar to a desktop, attaching a Bluetooth keyboard, a monitor and a mouse to the smartphone. Modern smartphones and tablets have more computing power than most computers from 10 years ago, so how does these new technologies on the block compare in their versatility vs. a laptop.
Craig found that the adjustment was slow, but once he had the foundations of working without a laptop, he found the experience to be almost the same as working with a laptop. In the podcast, he goes into detail about the pros and cons of this new way to conduct business.
