For our first #CoffeeBiz chat we spoke to the MD of Beaver Creek (@
Beaver Creek is a 3rd generation family run estate that was started by a dental technician and moved onto the existing farm in 1984 with his dental laboratory. Starting with just a couple seeds growing on the office window sill Beaver Creek has grown over 60000 trees and more than 40000 guests visiting the estate every year. Beaver Creek is the only 100% South African locally grown, harvested & Roasted Arabica coffee. Robbie explained to us why they are the only producers, what it takes to produce coffee and explained the entire process from seed to tree to mug, a process that takes about 5 years. The Estate has a coffee shop and a daily tour that explains the production process of coffee and the history of the estate.
Robbie explained the different varieties of Beaver Creek coffees and various other coffee paraphernalia that is available on the website. Delivery takes only 48 hours.
